Job Description

The Clinical Specialist provides flexible clinical and behavioral health support across organizational service lines and care settings under the direction of the Clinical Center of Excellence. This role supports assessment activities, behavioral consultation, clinical documentation, program initiatives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and other operational or clinical support needs identified across programs and departments.

The position is designed to provide supplemental clinical support based on organizational, operational, and client needs. Responsibilities may vary depending on assignment, census, acuity, program priorities, and ongoing departmental initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with psychoeducational, behavioral, adaptive, social-emotional, and related assessment activities as appropriate to assigned programs

  • Participate in clinical interviews, observations, record reviews, and data collection

  • Support development and implementation of behavioral recommendations and intervention strategies

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychology, psychiatry, ABA, nursing, education, social work, residential staff, and other program personnel

  • Assist with clinical documentation, integrated reports, treatment recommendations, and outcome tracking

  • Provide consultation and support regarding behavioral, emotional, developmental, and clinical needs of individuals served

  • Assist with crisis response, clinical coverage, staff support, and programmatic initiatives as needed

  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, quality improvement activities, and organizational initiatives

  • Maintain compliance with organizational, ethical, accreditation, and regulatory standards

  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of organizational clinical operations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's or doctoral-level training in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, or a related behavioral health field required
  • Current graduate internship, post-graduate training status, licensure track, or eligibility for supervised clinical practice preferred
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with behavioral health, developmental, educational, or emotional needs preferred
  • Strong written communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt across multiple clinical environments, populations, and service models
  • Familiarity with application of behavioral analytic treatment approaches
  • Demonstrated knowledge regarding the design and implementation of therapeutic technologies
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with little or no need for direct supervision
  • Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record preferred
