Location: Onsite at Merritt Island, FL (they will consider remote for exceptional candidate)
Employment Type: 9+ month contract, possible contract-to-direct (for those willing to work at Merritt Island)
Industry: Aerospace/Space
Compensation: $84.50/hr - $92.75/hr
Schedule: M-F days
About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Satellite Systems I&T Engineer to support the functional verification and validation activity for aerospace projects. We're looking for candidates who can bring exceptional engineering skills and strong test experience in aerospace programs to the team. The Senior Satellite Systems I&T Engineer's primary responsibility will be to support satellite functional verification and validation activity. In this role, the engineer will map technical requirements to verification and validation strategies that ensure product quality, develop test plans and test procedures, and execute and report the test results. Being at the cutting edge of space technology, we need someone who is eager to learn, grow, and take on new and potentially unfamiliar challenges. There is no shortage of fascinating problems to solve.

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Min 9 years of aerospace experience
Min 5 years of experience in satellite operation, system engineering, integration and testing that includes:
Min 2 years of experience with the full Space mission lifecycle, including requirements development, design, manufacturing, test, and mission operations.
Min 2 years of systems engineering and test tools (e.g., DOORS, CCS5, JIRA)
Min 2 years of experience with C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python and TCL
What Sets You Apart:
Master's degree in STEM field
Additional Information:
Some travel expected - less than 20%
