**THIS POSITION IS INCUMBENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

Longeviti is searching for a Procurement Specialist II with an active Secret clearance to support the US Army at the Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, CA.

DESCRIPTION:

The Procurement Specialist II provides advanced acquisition and procurement support by analyzing customer requirements, identifying procurement issues, and developing effective procurement strategies. This position serves as a key resource for procurement analysis, reporting, and process improvement while ensuring acquisition activities comply with applicable federal regulations, agency policies, and organizational objectives. The Procurement Specialist II collaborates with internal stakeholders to collect, analyze, and present procurement data that supports informed decision-making and efficient acquisition planning.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Collect, evaluate, and interpret customer procurement requirements to support acquisition planning and execution.
  • Analyze acquisition requirements and identify procurement issues, risks, and potential solutions.
  • Assist acquisition teams in developing and designing reports to support procurement analysis and decision-making.
  • Identify and evaluate procurement data sources, analytical methods, and reporting tools to improve procurement strategies.
  • Research procurement regulations, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance with applicable federal acquisition requirements.
  • Analyze procurement trends and provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support the development, implementation, and documentation of procurement procedures, user guides, manuals, and training materials.
  • Prepare procurement reports, briefings, and analytical documentation for management and customers.
  • Coordinate with contracting personnel, program managers, and stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are accurately captured and communicated.
  • Maintain procurement records, reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with agency policies.
  • Assist with special procurement projects and acquisition initiatives as assigned.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting federal procurement, acquisition, or contracting activities.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency procurement policies.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting procurement or acquisition data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience preparing procurement reports, documentation, and presentations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


SECURITY CLEARANCE:



  • Active Secret Security Clearance


EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Acquisition Management, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

SALARY RANGE:



  • $64,0000 USD - $79,000 USD. However, Longeviti considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
