Provide direction for all health center programs and services, with emphasis on general administrative and day-to-day operations. Provide direct supervision of the following departments: Human Resources, Facilities/General Services, WIC, Medical Records, Radiology, and Pharmacy. Serve as direct supervisor to Customer Service. Maintain and oversee all health center operations in conjunction and coordination with Chief Medical Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.
POSITION-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate completion of corporation's RFPs, grant application, development and implementation.
- Conduct ongoing community needs assessments to advise corporate leadership on programming direction (Web, Manually).
- Produce corporate correspondence addressing local, state, and national issues.
- Serve as staff to the Board of Directors as assigned.
- Produce, maintain and disseminate statistical reports descriptive of health center performance and productivity.
- In conjunction with direct report Department Heads, utilize change management to create a structure that will enable the transition from a current state to a desired future state.
- In conjunction with direct report Department Heads, define specific strategy, or direction, and make recommendations on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people.
- In conjunction with direct report Department Heads, develop and monitor various metrics and analytics used to evaluate effectiveness of various departmental programs and activities.
- Ensure that the organization and all of its subsystems (processes, departments, teams, employees, etc.) are working together in an optimum fashion to achieve the results desired by the organization through performance management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal business clients.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Master's Degree in business, social service, health care administration or related fields.
- Experience: A minimum of five years progressive experience in health care management, budget and funding development skills.
- Expertise: Demonstrated oral and written communication in formats required to perform job duties: executive correspondence, media, marketing campaigns, grants, corporate communication and training materials, program development and evaluation. Ability to organize, present, facilitate and represent corporation in a variety of executive and community forums. Demonstrated ability to develop and complete funding development, campaigns for multi million dollar goals. Demonstrated leadership ability to direct multi-layer and interdisciplinary work force. Ability to organize, comprehend and complete multi-tasking in coordination with corporate health and financial affairs.
