Are you an organized administrative professional who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly? Waste Pro is looking for an Operations Support Specialist to join our Pompano Beach Division. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to our management team while helping coordinate the day-to-day activities that keep one of the nation's fastest-growing waste and recycling companies operating efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Create, distribute, and close customer service tickets.
• Maintain and distribute operational reports and department information.
• Assist managers with administrative and operational tasks.
• Communicate with supervisors and dispatch regarding daily operations.
• Prepare and maintain reports related to operations, attendance, safety, and contract labor.
• Use company software to manage timekeeping, operational data, and reporting.
• Assist with operational projects and process improvements.
• Communicate with customers regarding service-related issues.
• Coordinate employee scheduling and work assignments.
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) or more years of administrative, operations support, dispatch, logistics, or office management experience.
• Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant administrative or operational support experience.

Physical Requirements

Frequent use of finger dexterity for keyboarding and computer operation throughout most of the workday.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with occasional exposure to outdoor operational areas. This requires frequent computer use, regular communication with employees and customers, and close collaboration with operations management.
