Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Technician on our team, you'll play a key role in supporting safe, efficient medication used across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings. This role is handson and detaildriven, ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced pharmacy environment and values accuracy, organization, and teamwork. Pharmacy Technicians support medication preparation, dispensing, compounding, inventory management, and controlled substance compliance while working closely with pharmacists and clinical teams to ensure timely, highquality patient care.

  • Prepare, dispense, compound, label, and repackage medications for inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings.

  • Process medication orders and maintain accurate records for controlled substances in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage medication inventory, including restocking supplies, monitoring expiration dates, and maintaining proper storage conditions.

  • Utilize pharmacy automation technology to support dispensing and compounding functions.

  • Collaborate with pharmacists and clinical teams to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery.

  • Perform clerical, billing, customer service, and other pharmacy support functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school plus specialized, short-term training in the areas of pharmacy law, practices standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms and trade/generic names.

  • Pharmacy Technician National Certification through exam or transfer required.

  • Active New Mexico Board of Pharmacy.

  • Pharmacy technician license required.

  • At least one year experience in pharmacy or completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
