AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

The Gloria Gates Memorial Foundation Afterschool Program is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Site Director to lead our program at the Overflow Church location.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Site Director will plan and oversee daily activities that support student learning and character development.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Plan and supervise engaging activities that include homework help and enrichment.

-Maintain a regular schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3: 00 pm to 6: 00 pm during the school year. Miss no more than one day per month.

-Create and organize age-appropriate activities, materials, games, and learning tools for

students in grades K-6.

-Track program impact and submit required reports on time.

-Build positive relationships with students, families, and schools to support recruitment, retention, and student success.

-Lead and collaborate with staff and volunteers to create a safe, respectful, and
welcoming environment.

SCHEDULE & PAY:

-Monday, Tuesday, Thursday  and Friday

-3: 00 p.m. to 6: 00 p.m.

-During the school year.

-$20 per hour

-Maximum 20 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong communication, organization and leadership skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Patient, dependable, and committed to serving at-risk youth in grades K-6

-Professional demeanor and a positive role model for children and families

-  Experience working with at-risk youth is highly encouraged.

UPDATED CLEARANCES ARE A MUST AND AGREE TO AN INDEPENDENT BACKGROUND CHECK.
