Responsibilities:



  • Vehicle Records Maintenance:Organize and update vehicle files to maintain accurate records, streamline operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.


  • Driver Qualification Management: Utilize Holman and Lee Trans Driver Qualification software to coordinate and update Fleet and Driver Qualification files. Track licensing and DOT physical renewals, ensuring compliance with DOT drug testing and physical requirements.
  • Truck Graphics Standardization: Follow SOPs for truck graphics and installation procedures to ensure consistency, safety, and efficiency.
  • Software Updates and Training: Keep Fleet Management and Driver Qualification Software up-to-date with the latest features and requirements. Provide support and training to branch personnel as needed.
  • Fleet Operations Support: Maintain a class E driver license (Class B CDL preferred) to drive light-duty and commercial vehicles as necessary. This includes light-duty travel to the DMV.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FMCSA Equipment and Driver regulations across all fleet operations.
  • Licensing and Registration: Assure IFTA/IRP and state-specific vehicle licensing requirements are met.
  • Clerical Duties: Handle title work, including filing title applications and maintaining complete files for each truck.
  • GPS System Management: Administration of Samsara (GPS) systems across the fleet, ensuring proper installation and configuration. Responsibilities include updating driver IDs and managing unit distribution.
  • Driver Compliance Coordination: Communicate with supervisors on driver FMCSA requirements, including onboarding, DOT renewals, and scheduling DOT physicals with managers and employees.

Requirements

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma required.
  • 2-3 years of experience working on fleet management operations in a corporate environment required.
  • Proven current understanding of GPS systems, Fleet Management Software, and related technologies required.
  • Excellent organizational and written, and oral communication skills a must.
  • Class B CDL with a clean driving record preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, IFTA/IRP and licensing requirements.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring compliance and efficiency in fleet operations.
