What You'll Do Oversee the operations of the truck scales; daily use as well as certifications, maintenance, and repairs, this includes the radiation detectors and cameras. Manage Industrial Truck Scale inbound and outbound operations to meet demands of the facility Diagnose problems with the scales and assist in their repair Monitor and arrange calibration of scales Monitors Radiation Detection equipment Perform radiation detection system checks according to environmental department requirements Maintain a clean and safe work area, inside the scale house and around the scales Troubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge, experience, and communication with others Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture What You'll Need Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs Some overtime will be required Must be willing to work weekends and nights as required based on production needs Basic computer skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
