Wholesale/Excess & Surplus Lines Field Marketing Representative

A Brief Overview

• Understand and communicate BHHC's non admitted property product to the assigned wholesale agents Arrange virtual visits and in person travel to call on wholesale agents nationally.

• Act as decision maker within the territory regarding all levels of agency appointments, agency commitment levels, terminations, and other types of disciplinary actions.

• Identify possible opportunities for new business by working with agency partners to review in-force business and work with Company underwriters to assist in the acquisition and retention of larger accounts.

• Develop the marketing strategy for the assigned agents .

• In person travel approximately 25% of the time.

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent
• 3-5 years related work experience.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance and rating insurance products.
• Understanding of Excess & Surplus Lines Insurance.

• You excel in establishing and fostering relationships with larger insurance agencies.
• You are a big picture thinker and are able to develop marketing strategies for the assigned territory.
• You are able to work independently while collaborating with your team members.
• You are a goal-oriented person with excellent time management skills
• You have experience working with Wholesale Property Brokers and/or knowledge of Surplus Lines Insurance.
