Cardiac catheterization is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat congenital heart defects by guiding a thin catheter through blood vessels to the heart. At the Johns Hopkins All Children's Heart Institute, this procedure can often replace open-heart surgery, leading to shorter recovery times and fewer surgeries over a patient's lifetime. Most children can go home the same day or the next day and return to normal activities within a few days.

Qualifications:

* BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire

* Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.

* A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, preferred 2 years of experience

* Previous PICU experience preferred

* BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum 36.62/hour - Maximum 54.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
