This position gathers and reviews information related to reimbursements, accident reports, and maintenance activities within Perry county. You will coordinate data, assist with investigations, and support field reviews as needed. As a Roadway Programs Technician 2, you will perform the following duties:

• Reimbursable Accident Reports (RAR) Coordination: Serve as the county coordinator by inspecting damage to state property and determining necessary repairs
• Data Processing: Enter information into the plant maintenance system to support invoice processing and documentation
• Tort Management: Coordinate accident claims, gather information, and provide data to assist with claim reviews
• Accident Review: Evaluate serious accident reports, conduct field views, take photos, and compile electronic reports
• Field Visits: Visit contractor work sites to verify that ongoing work meets required contract standards

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Work hours may change based on operational needs and may include overtime.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
