Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate and Capability Reporting team.

What We Do: We focus on supporting our capability teams with reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis. We serve as the primary business partner for capability reporting across the company. We provide the business leaders with transparency to what the capability spend represents and the value that is associated with that spend.

In the Financial Analyst role, you will establish trusted relationships as you develop an understanding of each business and deliver relevant reporting and analysis. Your ability to sift through large amounts of data and extract key insights that enable actionable decisions will be keys to your success. The Analyst position is accountable to the Manager of Analysis within the Capability and Reporting team.

Location: Our team is located at GP HQ in downtown Atlanta, GA. While GP offers some work location flexibility, we have an approach that includes a weekly in-office presence. What You Will Do

  • Aggregate and analyze data, extract key insights, and create reporting that enables actionable decisions across Corporate Capabilities
  • Collaborate with capability partners to understand their needs and provide details of spend and key drivers; period end, year over year, and forecast to actual variances
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis as needed to support business partners and customers
  • Partner with team members to transform the capability planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Seek and share knowledge, identify opportunities for improvements, challenge the status quo, propose solutions
  • Advance our Principle-Based Management culture by applying and reinforcing the company's Core Values and Principles

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Progressive career experience in nancial analysis, accounting, corporate reporting, or related role(s)
  • Confident communicator: You eectively communicate nancial insights across multiple levels of the organization, including business partners with non-nancial backgrounds
  • Contribution/Collaboration mindset: You seek to build relationships and partner with others to bridge gaps and solve problems
  • Transformation focused: You are exible and able to prioritize your work in a dynamic environment, embrace and lead change, and seek to improve processes
  • Systems and Tools savvy: You can manage large volumes of data from multiple systems and use tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
  • Experience with dashboarding, data analysis/visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Qlik)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (i.e. advanced formulas, pivots, macros, graphs, charts)
  • Connection to emerging AI trends; experience creating prompts and utilizing AI tools in a responsible way
