YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE We are looking for a QA Commercialization Manager in 5707 Waterford District Dr, Miami, FL 33126 USA. Your mission will be to: Position Summary This position has responsibility to ensure the quality and reliability for assigned projects, support key suppliers and direct related commodities in the United States and Canada. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Ensures that existing suppliers and distributors of food and packaging to the one or several client brands restaurant systems maintain client QA standards and meet client QA and industry quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Supports, advises, and works directly with client QA corporate teams, client supply chain, client marketing and innovation and client operations teams or any other stakeholder involved in the client QA Program execution (including the client's franchisees, master franchisees, designated purchasers personnel and organizations or other client QA vendors) to drive profitable business growth and increase guests satisfaction in client brand products. * Works closely with suppliers, distribution centers, and restaurants to develop, specify, and support the launch of new products with the highest food safety and quality standards. * The position can be focused in one region, in one client brand or category or a combination or multiple regions, brands or categories, as determined by client QA. * Monitors and improves product safety and quality of the existing food and packaging products and suppliers, through audits, specifications, complaint programs and other client quality assurance systems and processes. * Certifies facilities and qualifies products of new suppliers on the production of food products to client standards. Provides in-plant support for new product launches and advises product development and supply chain teams. Supports the implementation of new products during rollouts. * Monitors, investigates, and follows up on product complaints. Supports enquiries from health authorities/enforcement agencies. * Works in multidisciplinary projects to enhance food safety, quality, profitability and other related matters with all client business functions (development, operations, marketing, SCM) and franchisees, supporting the QA function internally and externally. * Works with the client QA corporate leadership and team on issues and projects related to driving global consistency, food safety, regulatory and quality worldwide in the client brands systems. * Any additional duties that might be required by Merieux NutriSciences or the client. * Other related duties as assigned. * At any time, the incumbent must behave and operate in an ethical and Code of Conduct compliant manner. Qualifications Required * The Quick Service Restaurant Quality Assurance Commercialization Manager for (QA Comm. Mgr.) is embarked in a structured program of onboarding, initiation and annual performance review in order to be capable of approving in clients' system (SPEQ) intermediate milestones approvals within the approval or monitoring process of commodities and suppliers (for example SPEQ QA SME approval of specifications, SPEQ certification of facilities, SPEQ approval of Raw Material suppliers and any other intermediate approval as determined by the client QA). For those client QA program workflows where an official document is issued by the client (for example an Approval Letter issued to a supplier), any of those intermediate approvals where the QA Comm. Mgr. is eligible to approve, on behalf of the client, must have at a certain end of its workflow (of a commodity, a facility, a supplier corporate or any other end-to end process within client QA program) a final approval executed by a client corporate representative. The QA Comm. Mgr. position is not authorized to perform any final approval or equivalent, which is exclusive to client corporate teams. * Basic MS Office and other reporting and organizational tools. Ability to see color, lift up to 50 pounds, ability to taste and smell. Physical Demands and Work Environment * The incumbent will work primarily in an office setting but spend time in a laboratory setting with proper lighting and temperature control. Occasional exposure to extreme cold. Work hours can vary according to the sample load and may include weekends. The incumbent must be able to handle all matrices or other product types as received, within appropriate safety guidelines. Visits to clients' facilities may be required including production facilities and the incumbent must adhere to all requirements outlined in their health and safety protocols. The incumbent will also be working in a kitchen environment where exposure to kitchen hazards such as sharp objects, hot surfaces, slippery floors, and other typical dangers will be common. The incumbent is required to wear safety equipment that includes eye protection, gloves, and laboratory coat. Travel up to 80% of the time. This is a remote position.
