Joining Engineer, Cybercab

• Responsible for the design, selection, enhancement, and maintenance of joining systems, laser joining, remote laser, laser cutting and engraving, laser cleaning systems like laser ablation and passivation. Knowledge of 2D lasers and 3D lasers
• Provide support to production on all matters related to joining processes, addressing any issues that arise, and actively participating in the implementation of future model changes and process development
• Support maintenance team in troubleshooting difficult breakdowns and equipment failures
• Develop maintenance joining training programs and perform the training
• Project management: both internal maintenance projects, and major contractor projects
• Procedures & PMs. Develop & maintain proper documentation of all necessary procedures, periodic joining equipment maintenance tasks, and process control
• Spare Parts: select and define required and appropriate spare parts & consumable

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience with joining technologies such as SPR, bolting, clinching, laser joining /cleaning/cutting/resistance welding
• Strong hands-on experience in high volume manufacturing
• Experience in robotics like Kuka or Fanuc
• Good understanding of robot integration in joining systems
• Experience in 3D cad systems
• Proven track record of data driven workflow to solve complex problems
