Title : Business Analyst/Product Owner

Duration: 18 Months

Location: Remote - Candidates need to be near a clients Hub.


Job Description:

  • Responsible for providing Business Analyst expertise to meet business objectives; bring leadership, perspective, consistency of approach, and quality assurance to the assigned project. The Product Owner will assist the Brokerage Platform Team with several key tasks including, but not limited to:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that their needs are understood, prioritized, and incorporated into the delivery process
  • Monitor full team project development and report development progress to project managers and leadership; updating RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) to manage and mitigate roadblocks
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospective; aligning Rally reporting to Jira requirements
  • Be readily available to stakeholders to answer questions, gather feedback, and manage expectations, fostering a collaborative and transparent partnership
  • Monitor sprint and initiative progress. Communicating status, risk, escalations, and outcomes to business and technology leadership
  • Work alongside platform product owners to support the roadmap, aligning upcoming features, technical improvements, while supporting commitments with broader business objectives and communicating timelines and direction to stakeholders at all levels



What you have:

  • This position requires experience in many key areas important in this role
  • Experience journey mapping based on subject matter expert interviews and understanding operational processes
  • Proven ability to collaborate and drive initiatives across multi-domain teams in an Agile environment, with experience translating business need into clear product requirements and driving execution from discovery to delivery
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record for building trusted relationships across technology and business stakeholders
  • Agile training and knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is required; Rally experience preferred but not required
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, Visio and other MS Office Products


Experience in finance, mutual funds, and/or operations preferred
