Under general supervision of the Manager of Outpatient Psychiatry Services La Jolla, the General Psychiatry Therapist provides all aspects of psychosocial mental and behavioral health services including primarily brief short-term individual and group therapy, diagnostic evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and case management. The therapist will work closely with clinical and administrative leadership to improve access to care and foster collaboration across UCSD Health psychiatry settings and programs, including Inpatient Psychiatry. The therapist will also be involved in case management procedures and coordination to best connect patients to psycho-social and community resources. Serve as liaison with other Psychiatry Division providers. Participates in multi-disciplinary treatment team. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $106,509 - $155,174 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $51.01 - $74.32 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
