Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for strategically planning, implementing and participating in outreach efforts designed to improve relationships within the healthcare community in the designated market for the Texas/Oklahoma Market, a total of 24 facilities. Primary efforts are targeted toward physicians and their management staff, but community groups and other potential patients and outpatient partners will be included, with the goal of strengthening physician relationships, maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for the Texas/Oklahoma Market. Will collaborate with physicians while monitoring outcomes and participating in performance improvement activities required to improve metrics. Will foster a culture of accountability, emphasizing performance improvement. Will be expected to travel to multiple facilities/locations within the market. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must be able to deal appropriately with highly sensitive and confidential material. Must have knowledge of standards and laws applicable to physician recruitment, planning and business development. 2. Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint Presentations, and Database). 3. Strong organizational skills to include metrics management, independent scheduling and record tracking. 4. Proficient in physician relations and marketing. 5. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to critically think in an environment with diverse perspectives and needs. 6. Ability to interact with all age groups 7. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's Degree required. Degree preference is healthcare administration, marketing, communication, public relations or management. 2. Five (5) years of public relations or marketing experience required. 3. Five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant healthcare experience required.
