Forklift Driver II

Job Summary

The Forklift Driver II is responsible for safely operating industrial forklifts and related equipment to support warehouse and production operations. This role involves loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with operational procedures. The position requires prior forklift experience and the ability to work assigned overnight shifts in a structured schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered forklifts and industrial trucks
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials safely and efficiently
• Transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas as needed
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure safe operation
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Maintain accurate handling of materials to support inventory control
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Communicate any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of forklift or industrial truck operating experience required
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, elevating platforms, or similar)
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overnight 3rd shift schedule, including extended shifts (12-hour days as scheduled)
• Ability to work weekends as required (Sunday-Wednesday schedule)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Experience

• 1-3 years of forklift or warehouse equipment operation experience required
