As a Manufacturing Senior Specialist, you are leading the Production Engineering team to support daily manufacturing operations and longterm business objectives. You are providing technical leadership to ensure stable, scalable manufacturing processes while driving rapid resolution of production issues. You are partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Advanced Manufacturing teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while developing engineering talent and ownership across the organization.

As a Manufacturing Senior Specialist - Production Engineering, you are being responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the Production Engineering team to support manufacturing execution and longterm operational goals.

  • Providing rapid technical engineering support to resolve production issues and minimize manufacturing disruptions.

  • Owning manufacturing processes, routings, and work instructions to ensure consistency, stability, and scalability.

  • Driving manufacturability reviews and supporting engineering changes to ensure efficient and controlled implementation.

  • Partnering with Manufacturing Operations to align engineering priorities with production needs.

  • Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization, and process readiness activities.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and structured problemsolving methodologies.

  • Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.

  • Building technical capability and leadership strength through coaching, mentoring, and performance management of engineers.

Fueling your passion

To be successful in this role you are:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related discipline) or comparable experience.

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.

  • Have demonstrated experience leading and developing technical or engineering teams.

  • Have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, shopfloor operations, and problemsolving tools.

  • Have a working understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement frameworks.

  • Have strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions.

  • Have a datadriven mindset with focus on execution, results, and accountability.

  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for operations and leadership audiences.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $101,530.00 - $188,470.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation. You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs. Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections, base salary level, and specific requirements of each of these plans.

This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found here, and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
