Physical Therapist PT Outpatient Pediatrics PRN

Inova Fairfax Hospital Outpatient Pediatrics Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our multidisciplinary team! This role will be PRN/As Needed and we're looking for after school availability (3pm until 6pm-6:30pm, but open to full days as well), no weekend or holiday requirement.

Physical Therapist (PT) Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges)
• Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association upon start

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy

• Physical Therapist (PT) experience in Pediatrics
