Security Officer - Screening Agent

As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced food and beverage location, helping support smooth entry processes, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will remain visible, deliver outstanding customer service and communication, and help to deter incidents while working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry points and screen team members, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with post orders and access procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help support security-related operations, noting conditions that may need attention.
• Assist with visitor processing, directions, and general inquiries while helping to maintain an orderly environment at the screening post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
