We are seeking an Onsite Linen Manager to support HCSC at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. In this fast-paced position, you'll deliver high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by leveraging comprehensive knowledge of company products and programs. This role requires strong communication and collaboration within the customer service team, while serving as a key liaison between customers and laundry operations to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. The salary range for this position is $48,200-$72,000 and is commensurate with experience. In addition, HCSC offers the following to all full-time employees:

What you will be doing:



  • Supervise and support assigned HCSC staff on-site, including coaching, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and participation in hiring decisions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, laundry operations, and corporate management to address concerns and ensure service quality.
  • Conduct routine service calls, promote programs and products as an account manager, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Perform linen quality assessments and provide recommendations for cost control and service improvements.
  • Manage garment and VIP programs, including inventories and replacement planning.
  • Oversee inventory control and analyze linen usage, shipping, and distribution to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Prepare and deliver regular and ad hoc reports, including service call documentation and operational analyses.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings, including hospital linen committees and staff in-service training sessions.


What you will bring to the role:



  • High school diploma or GED and 2+ years' experience in a commercial laundry/linen or hospital setting preferred (relevant experience may substitute for education).
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience with direct staff supervision.
  • Strong customer service and account management experience in client-facing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, data analysis, and operational reporting.



Additional information:

This position reports to the Sr Director, Customer Relations and will be based out of St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. They will be responsible for working the following schedule:



  • The normal hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8-4:30 with flexibility to be on call as needed.
