Position Summary: This position is forSW Engineeringinternfor summer internshipproject.There are twoprojectsthat will be assigned tointernship. First is a projectto developaHOWTOpreparetradeshow unitsincluding training and work instruction forDFS productspreparationand configurationwork instructionsfor our DFS distributorsusage(companies external to DFS).This includes learning about ourdistributorstradeshow process, internal products, productconfigurationsand branding. Secondprojectto improve onboarding process for Service organizationswithin DFS. PositionResponsibilities: Gain knowledgeon DFS productsthat arebeingshowcasedduringtradeshows. Understandproducts,configurationstepsand networking Understand trouble shootingsteps. Design,develop, and documenttraining forunitsreadiness and configuration steps Review current contractprocessfor onboarding Service Organizations and define improvements to streamlineprocess.Goalwould be to get a Service Organizationonboarded2 months. Run audit and create a management tool to flag contracts that are expired and coming up for renewal. Createprocesstoidentifyand proactively address contracts that haveexpirationapproaching. Qualification Requirements: Hands-on basics: Experienceonrunning reports from databases,understandbasic configurationsand communications Technical ability basic networking, understand flat and managed network Basic knowledge of Windows 10 environment Internet communication Mechanical aptitudeable to replaceHWand using basic HW tools Analyticalskills andtroubleshootingTesting: Ability todevelop ""what-if""test cases and logicallyidentifycritical system failure points Technical Documentation: Skilled inmaintainingandcorrelatespecific fault actions with their corresponding system outputs. Ability to work with limited direction toattainproject goals according to set timelines.
