Position Summary: This position is foranMechanical/Hydraulicengineeringinternfor someone with knowledgeofmechanical,hydrauliccomponentsand assemblies. This position focuses on sustaining efforts for existing products (e.g., support for regional production and manufacturing engineering teams) andR&D (research and development)projects as well. PositionResponsibilities: R&Dprojects Review global research projects - standards, work done and research implementation for North America Assistwith thebuildof prototypemeters.Interns will be provided with assembly models in3dto be used for reference. Fabricate and assemble prototype components andmodulesused for testing Develop design verification testmethodswith assistance. Write testreportswith assistance. Assistwith designreviews. Assist with FFF, structural testing, hydraulic Cycle testing and regulatory. Sustaining work Assistwith thebuildof prototypemeters.Interns will be provided with assembly models in3dto be used for reference. Execute and documentmeter and check valvetesting Support and improve testers and test fixtures Come up withrecommendations to improve meter testing process Qualification Requirements: Enrolled inBS in an engineering discipline (preferably mechanical engineering) Knowledge ofSolidWorks CAD system. Proficiencyin MS Office applications (Excel, Word,and PowerPoint). Knowledge ofamanufacturing environment. Knowledge ofmachine shops. Knowledge ofcross-functional design teams. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of UL hazardous area zoning requirements for fueldispensers. Essential Functions: Customer-centric mindset. Technology mindset. Ability to work both individually and in a team. Ability to work with limited direction toattainproject goals according to set timelines.
