Position Details: Unit Secretary Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO Department: Medical Telemetry Status: Full-Time (36hrs/week) Shift: 12-hour Nights Qualifications: Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent, G.E.D Preferred Education: Additional education or certification in medical office administration. Experience: Prior experience using computers and computer systems to enter data, or process information. Experience in working with the public; customer service. Preferred Experience: Prior clerical experience working in a healthcare setting. Other:Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and HIPAA regulations preferred. Why Mercy?
