As a Security Specialists Armed Community in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support residents and guests with professionalism, working as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access to the property and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
