University of Minnesota Physiciansisseeking an Interventional Cardiologistto join our Cardiovascular Division and advance our mission of exceptional care, continuous innovation, and advancing cardiovascular medicine. Our rapidly growing Heart Care Program in the east suburbs of the Twin Cities is looking to add an experienced interventional cardiologistto a highly collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Practice Highlights:

  • Join a multidisciplinary team of 22 cardiologists, including 4 interventional cardiologists, and 11 advanced practice providers
  • Provide a full spectrum of interventional cardiology procedures, including:
    • Cardiac catheterization
    • Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
    • Balloon angioplasty
    • Atherectomy
    • Intravascular lithotripsy
    • Stent implantation
    • Therapeutic hypothermia
    • Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
    • Impella
    • ECMO
  • Contribute to one of the fastest-growing PCI, Structural Heart, and Electrophysiology programsin Minnesota and the Midwest
  • Play a key role in expanding and strengthening a high-growth coronary intervention program
  • Practice in a modern, state-of-the-art facilityfeaturing four new cath labs with adjacent pre- and post-procedure areas
  • Utilize advanced hemodynamic support technologiesto manage complex, high-acuity patients
  • Opportunity to participate in clinical research and programmatic innovation

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME cardiology residencyand interventional cardiology fellowshiptraining program
  • Board certified or board eligiblethrough the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certificationin the State of Minnesota
  • Must meet all credentialing and privileging requirements
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain work authorization in the United Statesin accordance with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services requirements

Pay and Benefits:

We're proud to offer competitive compensation and a market-leading benefits package to support our employees and their families.

The full-time salary range is $500,000-$800,000 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
