Office Support Person IV - File Room Clerk

The Office Support Person IV - File Room Clerk member supports several functions and processes of the Clerk of Courts.

*Position covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

• Direct the flow of all files and paperwork to and from the file room.
• Accurately catalogue all court documents and files using CPSMS and the RFID tracking system
  • Check-out and return all files quickly and efficiently along with locating missing files.
• Retrieve documents and files for court personnel including attorneys and other authorized courthouse staff.
• Retrieve archived files not present in file room.
• Assist Judges, in-court clerks and 'tip staff' in ensuring all files are accurate and complete
  • Visit courtrooms daily performing pre-trial motions and call lists.
• Ensure all "hot filing" is processed and appropriated immediately.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Extremely well organized and detail-oriented problem solver.
• Good typing for data entry and strong computer skills.
• Ability to bend, climb ladders, and lift full file boxes.
• High School diploma, or equivalency.
