Department Summary The Department of Studio Art offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts, BFA degree, which offers students an intensive exploration across a breadth of seven media concentrations and within a depth of discipline that allows students to prepare to be an artist, begin career in the arts, or to continue their studies in graduate school. Position Overview The Department of Studio Art seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This positing is for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. The specific courses vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach these courses develop periodically, depending in department teaching needs. Minimum Qualifications Terminal Degree or equivalent experience in the field of visual arts, studio arts, or closely related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching gin higher education or equivalent. Demonstrated exhibition record or equivalent. Required License/Registration/Certifications Physical Requirements Communicating with others to exchange information. Environmental Hazards No adverse environmental conditions expected.
