Job Summary

The Role Player Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in all duties and responsibilities of the Role Player Manager to include reviewing the Student Administration and Scheduling System (SASS) and extracting role player training support requirements for role playing and develop a role player schedule. The Role Player Assistant Coordinator is required to assist in schedule development for individual role players based upon the requirements for each scenario. Ensure role players have met the required training requirements for each agency. Requires significant interpersonal skills to coordinate a myriad of training support mission requests to work with the customer representatives, program management and the role players. The Role Player Assistant Manager assists in keeping all records and reports necessary to track and monitor schedules and role player availability; develop and submit required paperwork to the appropriate government official; develop schedule for scenarios using a computerized scheduling program; ensure qualified role players are scheduled to work the appropriate scenarios by contacting them; monitor attendance of the role players; be on site for all scenario based training requirements or ensure a qualified replacement is available. Must be able to work evenings/weekends when training is scheduled or to supervise subordinates.

**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

Role and Responsibilities
  • Creation and oversight of role-playing scenario boards, to include role assignments, attaching scenario scripts, providing training props, and verification of employee/instructor signatures
  • Maintain scenario continuity binders to ensure all scripts and training materials are current and organized
  • Verify role player attendance and punctuality for training scenarios
  • Step in as a role player when needed to fill any scenario role including those that may require being handcuffed, frisked, tackled, struck by (rubber) baton, and shot at by simulated rounds from a pistol
  • Assists role players with issues with timekeeping, ADP, Humanity, and other job-related applications as needed
  • Assumes Role Player Coordinator duties in the event of coordinators absence. Some of these duties include building weekly schedules, monitoring SASS updates, employee onboarding, HR items, communication with FLETC staff, agencies and ASRC management, and more
  • In rare cases weekend or after-hours work may be required to support training
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting in scheduling and supervising multiple events, different agencies for up to 100 role players.
  • Must provide feedback on role players and after-action reports as required.
Required Qualifications and Education
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen and at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must have knowledge and proficiency with MS Suite
  • Experience with Humanity and SASS scheduling systems preferred
  • Personnel management experience preferred
  • Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a physical exam
Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Must be able to work in a variety of conditions, indoors or outdoors, with varying work shifts.
  • Must be able to work in office conditions (on-site) for normal workdays, sitting or standing for long periods.
