Environmental Scientist/Environmental Engineer - Portland, OR Who Are We? Support our growing industrial compliance practice by helping develop, implement, and review regulatory compliance programs for industrial and port facilities. The position supports air quality compliance (e.g., Clean Air Act [CCA] permitting), wastewater and stormwater compliance (e.g., NPDES permits), waste management compliance (e.g., RCRA regulations), and environmental program development (e.g., training and management systems). The successful candidate will also assist with regulatory interpretation, permitting, and agency interactions. Responsibilities may include:
You will coordinate closely with project managers and industrial clients and engage with regulatory agencies as needed. You will serve as a technical lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental documentation and practical compliance strategies. The role also includes developing project scopes, contributing to proposals, and supporting business development efforts. Responsibilities: The Environmental Compliance Specialist role involves providing technical and regulatory expertise to help our clients comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting environmental compliance audits, regulatory assessments, permitting support, and developing and assessing environmental management programs across air, water, waste, and chemical regulatory areas.
