Competitive Pay:
This position offers an hourly wage starting at $29/hr. +., depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:



  • Complete initial training period.
  • Perform routine maintenance, works, and reports directly to a skilled supervisor.
  • Set up, aligns and operates weld positioning equipment.
  • Troubleshoot weld positioners.
  • Set-up and operates sub arc welding.
  • Lead 2 - 3 person crew on all build-up procedures.


What You'll Need:



  • 1-3+yrs experience required of fabrication skills with structural and pipe shapes
  • MSHA certification a plus
  • Possesses certification in three position structural welding in SMAW and FCAW.
  • Stick, MIG and TIG welding experience
  • 6G qualifications preferred and must be proficient in acquiring D1.1 certification upon hire
  • Experience with overhead cranes operation a plus
  • Experience with the use of mobile cranes and crane signaling a plus
  • Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or constant loud noise
  • Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 60%) of job
  • Work environment can involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, dependable, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a repair shop environment.
