Position Overview:

The Junior Recruiter will support full-cycle recruiting efforts by assisting with sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for open positions. This role is ideal for someone early in their recruiting or HR career who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

This position may also provide administrative support to Human Resources, including onboarding, employee records, and general HR operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with creating and posting job openings on approved job boards and social media platforms
  • Support sourcing efforts using job boards, referrals, and other recruiting tools
  • Review resumes and assist with initial candidate screenings
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates throughout the process
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and updates in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support compliance with hiring policies and documentation requirements
  • Assist with onboarding activities and HR administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to support hiring needs

Position Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of recruiting or HR experience (internships or relevant experience acceptable)
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow direction and take feedback constructively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Position Preferences:

  • Interest in recruiting or talent acquisition as a career path
  • Exposure to government contracting or security-related recruiting is a plus, but not required
