Are you a detail-orientated professional with a passion for precision in the lending world? UBB is looking for a Loan Documentation Specialist to join our Loan Operations team. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our documentation process by preparing, generating, and tracking loan packages while ensuring seamless integration with our accounting systems. The ideal candidate will be located in the Twin Cities and will have the option to work a hybrid schedule in the office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday, after the initial training period. Essential Responsibilities * Prepares/Generates new loan documentation, generates promissory notes, security agreements, limited/unlimited guarantees and participation agreements/renewals/extensions/modifications. Prepares correspondence to accompany mailed loan documents. * Creates new loan file/folder, if applicable, and creates working file for pending documents. Enters collateral and insurance information, and sets up pending collateral documents in Sageworks system to track collateral and make sure we have final copies of documentation. * Boards/Enters loans onto Jack Henry/Loan system, making sure they are set up correctly, following the terms of the note. * Tracks original loan documents. * Monitors Paid Loan History Records and determines status and needs of collateral. * Monitors weekly FF and Libor rates, along with Senior Documentation position. Sends notice of all changes to Loan department. * Maintains list of contact names, sends requests to add branch locations and team requests to add loans to secure file transfer. * Maintains collateral safekeeping records. Issues collateral receipts for new stock certificates and return collateral receipts/certificates for stocks being released. * Maintains original note and safekeeping drawers. Performs yearly audits of each, along with Senior Documentation position. * Facilitates running the system monthly reports. * Sorts and distributes daily mail. * May serves as backup for loan payments/advance requests. * Assists with maintenance and tracking of Construction loans. * Assists with monitoring and tracking Real Estate property tax information. * Associate's degree in Accounting or related field or high school diploma plus equivalent work experience * 1 - 2 years of loan documentation experience, specifically with Loan documentation generation/creation * Commercial loan documentation experience preferred * AS400/Loan System experience preferred * Excellent attention-to-detail * Strong interpersonal skills, to include the ability to communicate with all levels of employees throughout the organization and outside of the organization * Microsoft Office (Word, Teams and Excel) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Problem solving skills * Strong ability to work on multiple tasks/priorities and meet deadlines * Knowledge in credit file setup and organization, loan documentation review and follow up, and exception tracking software utilization Benefits * Medical, Dental, and Vision * HSA with a generous company contribution * Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts * 401(k) plan with a 3% company contribution, plus up to an additional 1% match -Roth option available * 12 Paid holidays To continue to learn more about our superior benefits package and apply for this position, please visit our Careers page at https://www.ubb.com/about-us/careers.
