OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction and implementation of the enterprise network environment. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

oDesigning, implementing and maintaining Cisco enterprise network systems

oCollaborating with others to build and maintain processes and procedures

oActing as an escalation point for issues related to network infrastructure

oBeing involved with root cause analysis

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

oPossess or working towards a degree in Information Technology, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science OR have at least 3 years of experience maintaining enterprise network infrastructure

oExcellent written and oral communication skills

oHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

oDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

oWork independently as well as in a team environment

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

oPass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

oPossess certification in CCNA, CCNP or similar

oFamiliarity with enterprise network technologies such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, STP, WLAN, QoS, VPN, security and load balancing

oPrior work experience with Cisco hardware such as ISR, ASR, Catalyst, Nexus and ASA

oExperience with Cisco VoIP communications infrastructure

oAbility to perform network packet capture analysis

oPrevious scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl or others)

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.
