Commercial Kitchen Service Technician Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in the immediate Tampa, Spring Hill, Sarasota, Bradenton, or St. Petersburg areas Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Hourly) Start Here. What's in It for You Paid, hands-on training + ongoing technical support Career advancement opportunities (Advanced Tech, Leadership, and more) Company-provided service vehicle, fuel card, tablet, and phone Industry-recognized certifications (CFESA) Competitive benefits including 401(k) and PTO What You'll Do Service and repair commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing systems Troubleshoot issues using diagrams, schematics, and hands-on diagnostics Partner with restaurant and hospitality customers to keep their operations running Communicate with manufacturers and internal technical support teams when needed Install parts and complete repairs in a timely, professional manner Maintain accurate work orders, inventory, and service records Keep your company vehicle organized and job-ready Follow all safety standards and best practices What Matters Most We're looking for someone who is: Motivated to learn and grow in a skilled trade Curious, hands-on, and enjoys solving problems Reliable and takes pride in their work Comfortable working independently but knows when to ask for help Committed to building a long-term career-not just a job Basic Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical aptitude or some hands-on technical experience (appliances, HVAC, automotive, military, etc.) Valid driver's license with a good driving record Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (nights/weekends) Ability to occasionally travel overnight Preferred (But Not Required) Technical certifications (EPA, CFESA, etc.) Experience with commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (kneeling, bending, climbing, etc.) About the Company Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment.
