Position Summary

Supporting the manufacturing team by completing pre and post formation operations on formed elements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures a safe work environment and adheres to all safety procedures.

  • Reads and comprehends procedures and methods and populates required information on required paper work.

  • Monitors quality and accuracy of products manufactured.

  • Able to use calipers and tape measures in order to produce a quality product.

  • Performs 5S daily.

  • Use of power saws, hot tables, welders, fiberglass, ink jet printers, packaging machines and compressed air.

  • Leads natural HPT and participates in one Starpoint HPT.

  • Cross-trained in all EVS post formation cells, including packaging and water spider.

  • Able to train new employees on all post formation cells.

  • Able to assist the VSS in completing the TIB each day or as needed.

  • Cross-trained in at least one department external to post formation (i.e. DFU/Cutting, HW, Assembly, or Formation).

  • Able to assist the VSS in performing MSS transactions (i.e. backflushing, creating work orders) as needed.

  • Able to open or close the facility if needed.

  • Other duties as needed


Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing and machine operating preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and understand work orders, special data cover sheets, written and verbal instructions.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $22.39/hr to $34.83/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
