Network Architect - Clearance Required

Job Description:

We are seeking a Network Architect to support a mission-critical program requiring advanced expertise in network engineering, system integration, and enterprise infrastructure operations. This is a key personnel role supporting complex environments across multiple domains, including voice, video, data, and imagery systems.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and sustain robust network architectures that support operational readiness and evolving mission requirements at locations like NAS Patuxent River, MD.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead engineering efforts for the development, integration, and analysis of networked systems and infrastructure
• Design and implement scalable network architectures across local, regional, and wide area networks (LAN/WAN)
• Perform interface design analysis to ensure seamless system interoperability
• Support installation, integration, testing, and fielding of hardware and software systems
• Conduct field analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of deployed network solutions
• Oversee operation and maintenance of enterprise network environments supporting voice, video, data, and imagery transmission
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into effective network solutions
• Ensure systems meet reliability, security, and performance standards

Here's what you need (Required Qualifications):

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in network engineering, systems integration, or related technical disciplines
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with networking systems and/or technologies
• Proven experience supporting LAN, WAN, and enterprise-level network infrastructures
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and integration methodologies
• Experience working with systems supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information
• Ability to support full system lifecycle activities including design, implementation, testing, and sustainment

Bonus Points If You Have (Desired Qualifications):

• Experience supporting Mission Systems Network Engineering initiatives
• Experience supporting NAVAIR/NAWCAD network engineering projects

Security Clearance:

• Active DoD Top Secret

Education:

• B.S in technical or IT discipline desired.

Work Schedule:

• Onsite, Monday-Friday

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000-190,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
