Responsibilities

This is a hybrid opportunity. The ideal candidate must be commutable to our Center City, MN location.

The Marketing Automation Operations Specialist is part of the Corporate Marketing team and is responsible for the operational execution of marketing automation programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role owns the day-to-day build, deployment, and management of journeys, automations, and campaign schedules to ensure marketing communications are delivered accurately, consistently, and in accordance with established standards.

The Operations Specialist partners closely with marketing automation leadership and works as a liaison between the business and IT to design and deliver high quality, scalable technical solutions. This role also provides thought leadership, technical prowess, and the ability to manage cross-division, cross-functional teams, driving the creation of digital solutions, email campaigns, email reporting, and data integration.

  • Provide a high level of customer service, display a positive image to internal and external customers, and promote organizational teamwork.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in marketing technology and marketing automation
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a marketing automation or email marketing platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing automated campaigns, journeys, or workflows.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, campaign scheduling, and QA processes.
  • Experience working in a structured, process driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator.
  • Experience partnering with data, CRM, or IT teams in a cross functional MarTech environment.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, nonprofit, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with email compliance standards and subscription management models.
  • Execution and delivery focused mindset with a desire to continuously improve processes.
