CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: (1) Lead PSG & CBG Environmental, Health, Safety & Fire Safety Program:
- Develop and drive execution in strategic initiatives necessary to protect employees and the public. Own the EHS&T strategy, annual plan, and multi-year roadmap aligned to business objectives and risk profile;
- Identify strategic, critical initiatives necessary to support Group-wide safety and risk control programs and processes that significantly reduce risk;
- Create and sustain a culture of safety and compliance, at all Group levels;
- Lead with the hierarchy of controls and engineered solutions; embed safety in process, layout, selection, and procurement.
(2) EHS Leadership:
- Demonstrate leadership in both the management of the PSG EHS team and cross-functional EHS support teams;
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop safe and compliance operations across the Group;
- Serve as an advisor to the BU President, Operations, and HR Team on EHS&T risk, opportunities, and investments.
- Represent the Group in enterprise EHS and Sustainability efforts, and pursue alignment and execution of key enterprise initiatives;
(3) EHS, Fire Safety, and Transportation Compliance:
- Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and Federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Department of Transportation (DOT);
- Partner with internal and external resources to stand up a bestinclass DOT/FMCSA compliance program (driver qualification, vehicle maintenance/DVIR, incident review, etc.). Ensure telematics data and other data drive collision reduction efforts;
- Develop and maintain a focus on delivery driver injury reduction;
- Oversee the fire protection and life safety strategy for stores and blending sites
- Ensure that compliance with environmental reporting and regulations is maintained with all local, state, and Federal agencies
(4) Incident and Data Management:
- Ensure that incidents are adequately reported, investigated, and tracked in the enterprise EHS data management system;
- Oversee injury/illness and vehicle incident case management, rootcause analysis, returntowork, and postaccident testing protocols to reduce severity and claim duration.
(5) Environmental - Provide global leadership and expertise related to PSG environmental programs:
- Lead efforts to ensure all sites have a documented environmental compliance calendar and registrar of applicable regulations.
- Facilitate the timely exchange of environmental related information to include best practices, environmental reporting, preventive and corrective measures, compliance related to regulation, industry and internal standards and operating permits.
This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications include: Required:
- Bachelor's in Science
- Minimum of 12 years of combined professional experience in safety engineering, occupational safety, or risk analysis and assessment
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience;
- Expert knowledge of EPA, OSHA and DOT/FMCSA standards; proven track record reducing injury and collision rates at scale;
- Strong data fluency (leading indicators, analytics, and executive storytelling) and change leadership.

Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MS, MPH, MBA) and/or professional certifications (e.g., CSP or CIH).
- Relevant Industry certifications preferred such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
