Opportunity Details:

• Providespeech-language therapy under physician's prescription to all speech, swallowing, voice and language disordered adults and children at inpatient and post-acute care levels.
• Administer specialized age-appropriate test and evaluations.
• Provideeducation and training to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
• Provide periodic in-services to staff regarding speech pathology.
• Provide appropriate therapy as prescribed by physician.
• Adheres to the departmental attendance policy and weekend coverage requirements.

• Master's Degree from an accredited university of Speech Pathology program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Per Diem rate = $65* per hour.
