We are seeking experienced, customer-focused professionals to join a high-volume call center environment supporting a broad range of banking services. This role is ideal for problem-solvers who think critically, work well in teams, and are looking for long-term stability and career growth.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service while handling back-to-back calls related to online and mobile banking, credit cards, and loan-related transactions. This position requires professionalism, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to resolve issues without relying on rigid scripts. Key Responsibilities * Provide exceptional client service by researching, troubleshooting, and resolving client issues and errors * Support clients and branch teams with online banking, mobile banking, and loan-related transactions * Proactively assess client needs, resolve inquiries, provide account information, and complete transactions on the client's behalf * Utilize multiple computer systems simultaneously to gather information, document interactions, and track calls * Expand existing client relationships through cross-selling products and services or referring clients to appropriate sales partners * Contribute to departmental service quality goals and performance metrics * Comply with all internal policies, security requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations Required Skills & Qualifications * Proven ability to deliver professional, accurate, and responsive customer service * Experience handling a high volume of diverse call types in a call center environment * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to think outside the box and use sound judgment * Ability to multitask effectively across multiple systems and screens * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone and email etiquette * Demonstrated teamwork skills and experience working in collaborative environments * Strong time management and organizational skills * Experience with sales conversations, referrals, or cross-selling * Employment history reflecting stability and long-term commitment (short tenures reviewed on a case-by-case basis) * Prior call center experience required; this role is not open to entry-level candidates Nice-to-Have Skills * Bilingual capabilities * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Work Environment & Schedule * Cubicle-based office environment with a laid-back, supportive team culture * Contract schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM * Permanent schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM * Eligibility for remote work after six months, contingent upon demonstrated performance and proficiency What We're Looking For * Professionals who are compassionate and patient, particularly when working with older clients * Individuals comfortable with back-to-back calls in a fast-paced call center * Strong critical thinkers who can resolve non-routine issues without relying solely on scripts * Candidates seeking long-term career growth and stability *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Spokane, WA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
