Responsible for supervising Ground Operations Logistics Leads and overseeing operations to ensure effective management of uniforms, linens/blankets, commissary, and warehouse supplies. Provides oversight of inventory control, vendor management, warehouse operations, and supply distribution to domestic and international stations. Ensures compliance with company standards, supports operational readiness, and responds to irregular operations with timely solutions



  • Supervise and direct Ground Operations Logistics Leads and Coordinators in their daily responsibilities.
  • Oversee the ordering and distribution of dry supplies, beverages, linens/blankets, and related materials across the network, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including weekly physical inventories, reconciliations, and resolution of variances.
  • Review and approve inventory transactions, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and control of dry supply kits placed onboard aircraft.
  • Oversee aircraft arrivals to inspect dry supplies, beverages, and onboard kits to ensure proper stock levels and configuration.
  • Supervise replenishment of sodas and bottled water using metal aircraft carriers and ensure proper stocking in aircraft galleys.
  • Supervise the loading of new kits and removal of expired, damaged, or depleted supplies from aircraft.
  • Ensure all onboard supply movements, including galley replenishment and kit swaps, are properly tracked, documented, and reconciled in inventory systems.
  • Review logistics data and reports, providing summaries and operational updates to the Manager.
  • Oversee the use of Veoci for tracking logistics activities and ensure system compliance by staff.
  • Manage domestic and international supply shipments supporting worldwide dry supply kit operations.
  • Review invoices, accruals, and departmental credit card expenses for accuracy prior to submission to the Manager.
  • Identify invoice discrepancies and relay issues to the Manager for resolution.
  • Respond to irregular operations and urgent logistics issues within the 24/7 warehouse environment as needed.
  • Participate in meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders to identify operational risks and resolve issues.
  • Support special projects, audits, and interdepartmental initiatives as assigned by Ground Operations Logistics Management.
  • Travel domestically and internationally in support of Ground Operations Logistics activities.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental SOPs and assist with reviewing and updating procedures.


Qualifications:



  • BS/BA preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 6 years' experience in aviation, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of ground and cargo operations processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with logistical coordination, inventory management, and supply chain practices.
  • Familiarity with Veoci and Ariba systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized inventory systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally and domestically.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.
