Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Easton, PA 18045 (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)

Standard Hours: 8-5pm Monday - Friday



Role Summary


The client is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Supply Chain Manager to lead operations for the Raw Material Center (RMC), an external warehouse supporting three major manufacturing sites within the client network.

This role is responsible for defining and executing raw material inventory strategy, ensuring uninterrupted supply, optimizing working capital, and proactively managing supply risk. In addition to strategic network planning, this position owns purchase order execution and transactional oversight to ensure operational and financial integrity across systems.

Key Responsibilities

Network Strategy & Risk Management

  • Own end-to-end raw material inventory strategy for materials managed through the RMC.
  • Define and maintain safety stock, buffer, and inventory targets aligned to demand variability and supplier lead times.
  • Lead structured supply risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect manufacturing continuity.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to support allocation and prioritization decisions during constraints.
  • Monitor inventory health (service level, aging, scrap, E&O, inventory investment).



Order Execution & Operational Oversight

  • Own the full lifecycle execution and maintenance of purchase orders (POs) in SAP and planning systems.
  • Ensure timely PO release, confirmation, delivery tracking, and alignment with warehouse receiving schedules.
  • Proactively manage open orders and mitigate delivery risks to prevent stockouts.
  • Resolve discrepancies impacting Receiving, Quality, and Finance, including:


  • Quantity or delivery mismatches
  • Invoice and pricing discrepancies
  • Three-way match issues (PO, receipt, invoice)



Cross-Site & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Facilitate cross-site inventory and risk review forums.
  • Partner with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and Finance to align sourcing, execution, and risk posture.
  • Lead resolution of supply issues requiring multi-site coordination.
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority to achieve enterprise-level outcomes.



Planning, Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure accuracy of planning signals within SAP, RapidResponse, and related systems.
  • Develop analytics and dashboards to support KPI governance and executive decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance inventory productivity, supply reliability, and execution discipline.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize processes across sites supported by the RMC.



Basic Qualifications

* Master's degree and 2 years of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations experience

OR

* Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations experience

OR

* Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated (GMP) manufacturing or supply chain environments
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management theory and safety stock modeling
  • Demonstrated experience managing purchase order lifecycle and resolving transactional discrepancies
  • Experience with SAP and/or RapidResponse or equivalent ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Experience in risk management, scenario modeling, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)



Impact of the Role

This position plays a critical role in protecting uninterrupted supply to three major manufacturing sites, optimizing inventory investment, ensuring financial and system accuracy, and strengthening cross-network collaboration to ultimately serve patients reliably.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 2 years of experience or Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or Associate's degree and 8 years of experience or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
