The Tempur Sealy manufacturing site in Hagerstown, MD is currently seeking aMattress Builderfor our 1st shift. TheMattress Builderis responsible for taking pre-staged parts of the mattress and assembling them in the correct order.

Job Duties:

  • Correctly assemble multiple bedding layers including springs, felt, foam and other materials in a safe and consistent manner.
  • Works in a two-person team to pad & cover innerspring assemblies to form mattresses.
  • Attaching layers of insulating materials using a hog ring gun. Attached toppers and panels by spraying hot glue.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality requirements while meeting or exceeding production service levels.
  • Participate in Department safety, quality and continuous improvement events on an as needed basis.
