As a Corporate Development Intern, you will support the Corporate Development team in identifying strategic partnership and acquisition opportunities within the cybersecurity ecosystem. This role provides hands-on exposure to M&A processes, industry research, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, R&D, Finance, and Strategy teams.

Key Responsibilities

Ecosystem Research & Relationship Support



  • Conduct research on startups and mature companies within the cybersecurity ecosystem (e.g., SASE, Cloud Security, SecOps, Managed Services).
  • Support outreach efforts by preparing background materials, company briefs, and meeting summaries.
  • Help maintain and update internal databases of ecosystem companies, investment banks, venture capital firms, and private equity contacts.
  • Track market trends, funding rounds, and competitive activity.


Deal Sourcing & Market Intelligence



  • Assist in sourcing and screening potential acquisition or partnership targets through industry research and market mapping.
  • Prepare landscape analyses and competitor comparisons within strategic domains.
  • Support ongoing deal flow tracking and pipeline management.


Strategic Domain Support



  • Work with Product Management and R&D teams to understand product roadmaps and strategic focus areas.
  • Assist in build/partner/buy analyses through research and benchmarking.
  • Support preparation materials for partnership or OEM discussions.


M&A Due Diligence & Project Support



  • Help coordinate due diligence processes by tracking information requests and organizing documentation.
  • Support preparation of diligence reports, summaries, and presentations for management.
  • Assist in cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, tax, HR, and other stakeholders.
  • Take part in internal meetings and contribute research and analysis to decision-making discussions.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge & Skills



  • Currently pursuing a BSc (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and technology markets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future


Advantage



  • Prior internship experience in consulting, strategy, investment banking, VC, product management, or corporate development.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity technologies or enterprise software markets.
  • MBA studies (in progress) - a plus.

The wage range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors in determining your pay. We'll consider your location, experience, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The wage disclosure has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which this position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current base wage range for this role is $20.00/hr. In addition to the base compensation, certain roles are eligible for additional compensation, including an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. Benefits/perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Check Point Software Technologies and the country/state where you work.
