Description and Requirements

We are seeking an Automation Development Intern to support server product quality and production assurance initiatives. This intern will work with engineering and production teams to develop and execute automation scripts that validate server hardware quality prior to shipment to customers, including Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environments.

This role offers hands-on experience in hardware validation, automation development, and quality assurance within a real-world production setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure a development environment for automation and testing activities
  • Design, develop, and write automation scripts to validate server hardware health and status
  • Create and execute automated test cases for server products
  • Support Production Assurance efforts by validating hardware quality before customer shipment
  • Assist in checking and reporting hardware quality issues during production and customization phases
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on server design, testing, and validation processes
  • Document automation workflows, test results, and findings as needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Basic experience or coursework in programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Interest in automation, quality assurance, and server hardware
  • Familiarity with testing concepts or automation frameworks is a plus
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a production-focused technical environment
