Description and Requirements

Role Title: Senior Manager - Sales Strategy & Transformation

The Senior Manager, Sales Strategy & Transformation supports the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth, improve seller productivity, and enhance operational effectiveness.

This role partners with Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable programs, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and track progress against business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development & Insights

  • Support the development of sales and go-to-market strategies through market analysis, business insights, and performance trends.
  • Analyze data to identify growth opportunities, risks, and areas for optimization across the sales organization.
  • Contribute to defining priorities, strategic initiatives, and success metrics aligned to business objectives.

Program Execution & Transformation Support

  • Lead execution of strategic initiatives and transformation programs aligned to sales priorities.
  • Translate strategy into structured plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure effective implementation.
  • Track progress against defined KPIs and provide insights on outcomes and impact.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with Sales Leaders, Operations, Finance, Enablement, and HR to drive alignment and execution.
  • Support leadership with data-driven insights, recommendations, and structured updates on key initiatives.
  • Influence stakeholders across a matrixed environment to enable progress and adoption.

Governance & Performance Tracking

  • Establish and manage program governance, reporting, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and execution challenges, and support mitigation planning.
  • Contribute to regular business reviews and performance discussions.

Process Improvement & Operational Effectiveness

  • Support design and refinement of sales processes, workflows, and operating models.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and enhance seller experience.
  • Leverage analytics to drive continuous improvement in execution.
Basic Requirements:
  • 8-12+ years of experience in sales strategy, services operations, or commercial transformation, with a focus on services-led growth, seller productivity, and operational performance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting services go-to-market strategies and executing initiatives that drive revenue, attach, and margin expansion.
  • Strong analytical capability with a track record of using data to improve sales and services performance.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed environments, partnering across Sales, Services, Finance, and Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience in strategy, consulting, or services business management.
This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. within the United States with preference for Eastern or Central time zones. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection!

The base salary range budgeted for this position is $160,000 to $210,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
