We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Digital Analyst II (Hybrid) on our Marketing & Member Experience team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

This role is responsible for generating hypothesis and a roadmap of test candidates that improve the AMA website experience, deliver targeted content and ultimately increase membership purchase conversion. Responsible for analyzing behavioral data, heat maps and qualitative data to inform their hypothesis and work closely with disciplines across digital marketing, business intelligence, UX development, editorial and business stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead UI/UX Testing on Website to Increase Conversion

  • Optimize the customer journeys on our website and landing pages to increase conversion rates and engagement; drive the hypothesis generation process
  • Help stakeholders think about optimization opportunities; provide feedback to stakeholders to influence test ideas that will yield the most impactful customer experience improvements on the site
  • Design, develop, manage, and analyze A/B tests, multivariate testing, segment-based targeting, and behavioral targeting with cross-functional team involvement
  • Assist the Lead Analyst in developing best in class testing and personalization program in collaboration with the Content Strategy, including defining testing and personalization roadmap, implementation process, reporting, advancement of testing toolset and governance

Lead Pay-Per-Click Keyword and Remarketing Strategies to Increase Site Traffic

  • Execute the strategy and oversee implementation for keyword (non-branded) and remarketing paid media campaigns
  • Collaborate with Content Operations team to maintain a consistent brand voice and messages across all channels
  • Optimize campaigns for cost-per acquisition in alignment with audience building objectives

Reports and Dashboards

  • Support the Lead Analyst in development and maintenance of KPI reports and dashboards to monitor performance against goals
  • Recommend opportunities for improvement based on data; turn data into information and insights to drive new content production

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree required
  2. 5+ years of experience required in digital analytics, UX, marketing, technology or a combination of the three
  3. 2 years' experience implementing tests, managing audience creation and business rules and analyzing data collected using the following or equivalent tools: Optimizely A/B Multivariate testing toolset, Google Analytics Premium, Acquia Lift personalization, SessionCam heat mapping software, and Qualaroo survey tool required
  4. Experience editing basic HTML required launching tests within Optimizely preferred
  5. Prior experience with conversion rate optimization tactics and proven success in improving site-wide conversion rates required
  6. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines required
  7. Both client side and agency experience, preferred

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $74,160-$98,318. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
